As many of you know, I was born in New Orleans. I have great love for that city. I may even move back there soon. I still have lots of family there. So when Mardi Gras was around the corner, I decided to take a vacation. It also coincided with my son's birthday so he gets the eternal bragging rights of celebrating his birthday at one of the largest parties in the world. And with the joy and excitement of the Saints winning the Superbowl the weekend before, it was epic.
I also planned that while I was there, I was going to set up a photoshoot or two with some local models. So I went on Model Mayhem and reached out to quite a few models on there. Most of them initially got back to me and showed great interest so I was optimistic. Well, one way or another, they flaked out. It's cool though. As usual, I make the best with what I have and mostly turns out better than originally planned and this time was no different. I found a diamond in the rough in Adrianna while my family and I were out to dinner and what resulted were some great shots to add to our portfolios and... more importantly... another great friendship with her and her family that gives even more reason to visit New Orleans more often.

What is Elamintal and why is it on some of the photos and videos featured on this site? Elamintal was the name of Anesti Vega's first production company. It specialized in a variety of production services that ended up spreading too thin. With the launching of Maluco Studios specializing in action and extreme film, video and photo... Elamintal is now only a name that represents Anesti's early work.
